March 2015: With Anna in kindergarten, this was our first official Spring Break trip as a family. We started the week up in Louisville with a visit to MeMe. It was our first trip to her new house. We had beautiful warm weather the first couple of days. Great for riding bikes!
The weather was also perfect for a trip to the Louisville Zoo.
When the weather turned a little chillier, we went to see Cinderella at the movies and we went bowling at Dad's old stomping grounds.
Are these the tiniest bowling shoes you've ever seen? :)
For the second half of the week, we drove back down to Sevierville, Tennessee and met up with our good friends, the Mitchells, for some good old Smokey Mountain fun! First up, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede dinner show. Sara spent most of the show terrified of the dark and loud special effects, but Anna loved it!
The next day was spent at the indoor water park at our hotel, Wilderness at the Smokies. The kids had a blast and Anna once again proved herself to be quite the little daredevil on the water slides!
Our last day was spent at Dollywood. It was opening day for the season and we saw none other than Dolly herself! (More on that and pictures coming soon...)
