This year, we spent my birthday weekend (32!) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It's a great city with lots of fun stuff to do! We started at the Aquarium on Friday (somehow we ended up with no pictures of that!) Then on Saturday, we explored the Riverfront area. We walked across the Walnut Street Bridge to Coolidge Park where Anna rode the carousel (several times, as you can see!) Lions and horses and rabbits, oh my!
Later that day, we checked out The Passage which was super-fun and super-refreshing (as it was about 1000 degrees). Don't worry, the water was chlorinated!
Then it was on to the Creative Discovery Museum...
We saw downtown via horse and buggy...
Later that night, we took in a Chattanooga Lookouts game--Anna's very first baseball game. She was surprisingly well-behaved, due in large part to the presence of the San Diego Chicken. She loved that thing!

Our last day was spent at Rock City. Here, Anna poses with Rocky the Gnome. She could not get enough! This from the kid who was terrified of Santa Claus! Go figure...
