At the beginning of August, we finally headed down to Destin for our annual beach trip. We got to enjoy some time with Grandma Tam and Aunt CC, but it was definitely bittersweet this year, as it was our first trip since losing my dad, the girls' "Big Daddy," on April 30. However, we knew he was smiling down on us for continuing on with our tradition and we had a nice time!
The girls really loved the pool this year and would probably have spent all their time there if we would have let them!
They had a lot of fun in the tide pool that was on the beach on our first day. The only day that Paul and I could actually sit in our chairs and relax!
