Anna's 4K Graduation

I can't believe it, but Anna "graduated" from 4K on May 14.  (This is somewhat unofficial because she will continue to attend the 4K program all summer, but it was the last day of school for the part-time Mother's Day Out kids and even a few of the full-time kids left at the end of the month, so they had the ceremony in May.)

There was a short program in the church followed by a little reception with cake and punch (which is what the kids were most excited about!)

Singing "A to Z with Noah."  Anna said she chose the letter "L" for her middle name (Louise) because  "A" had already been chosen by someone else!  Her line (which she shouted out loud and clear) was, "L. /l/.  Lion!"  (/l/ = the "L" sound in the phonemic alphabet for those of you who aren't dorky speech therapists!)

Receiving her diploma from her teacher Ms. Allie.

 More singing.

With Ms. Allie, whom Anna recently reported she loves as much as Mom and Dad.  (She also wants to go home with her when she gets mad at me about what we're having for supper.)

Grandpa and Grandmama with the graduate.

With Ms. Susan, director of the girls' school and long time family friend.  I will miss having Anna under her care every day!
