This past week, we took our first family vacation with Anna. We ventured off to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina with the grandparents.

It was, of course, Anna's first time to the beach and we had to have her decked out accordingly.

Here's the whole group. It was also our first time to use the Baby Bjorn carrier. She liked it just fine as long as we kept moving. She was not a big fan of it standing still, however.

I guess vacation is very tiring when you're 10 weeks old.

No story behind this picture. I just thought it was very cute!

Hanging out with Grandmama and Grandpa while we escaped for a bike ride. This is why it's good to have the grandparents along!

But turn-about is fair play, so next we were on baby duty while they went out for a ride!

Out for a sunset cruise, which was pretty fun until...

...the captain on the boat thought it would be a good idea to try to get a picture that looked like Anna was driving the boat. You can see how much she enjoyed it.

The Happy Family

Another shot in her sun hat. She hated for it to be down over her eyes, so we spent the whole trip with it flipped up in the front. I decided she looked like the Gorton's Fisherman (if only her hat was yellow!)
